Who We Are and Where We Are Located
Ljubačke Doline Ethno Village is located in the heart of the village of Ljubačevo, about 17 km from Banja Luka, on the road to Kneževo. In our small ethnic oasis, away from the heat and crowds of the city, you can relax and enjoy everything we have to offer.

Ljubačke Doline Ethno Village was created as an open-air museum, showing the traditional life of a family cooperative from this region, including its traditional architecture, everyday objects and household furnishings from the late 19th and first half of the 20th century.
The museum has more than 6,000 exhibits divided into several collections. The main collection is ethnological, while the natural history collection includes sections dedicated to flora and fauna, as well as minerals and fossils.
If you’re hungry, in the Tavern of the Ethno village – Museum Ljubačke doline you can find traditional cuisine from this region: homemade buckwheat pie, traditional pie from brown flour, muffins with sour cream, pones with cottage cheese, cicvara (traditional cheese, sour cream and milk dish), dumplings.
This hall (gallery) can be used to display your paintings, sculptures, books, photographs and other works. It is also suitable for school lessons, business meetings, seminars, courses, conferences and other events. You can also rent the hall (gallery) for a birthday celebration, christening, family gathering or even a wedding lunch.
The church is dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius. Its foundations were consecrated by His Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka, together with several other priests. The icons date from the 18th century. The church bell itself dates from 1939 and has a remarkable and fascinating history.
The weaving, blacksmithing, carpentry and other workshops are fully functional. We use them to demonstrate how clothing and other everyday objects were traditionally made. Many of these traditional items can also be seen and purchased at Toma's Shop within the Ethno Village.
