If you’re hungry, the Tavern at Ljubačke Doline Ethno Village – Museum offers traditional dishes from the region: homemade buckwheat pie, rolled pie made with dark wheat flour, small flatbreads with kaymak, projice (small cornmeal cakes) with homemade cheese and kaymak, cicvara, and uštipci.
Come and enjoy a traditional rural breakfast with bacon, homemade cheese and kaymak, served with tomatoes or potatoes in their skins with kaymak.
For lunch, you can order lamb roasted on a spit, veal cooked under a sač with roasted potatoes and rosemary, beans with bacon, or svadbarski kupus (traditional wedding cabbage).
And to finish, treat yourself to a slice of Ljubački cake, a local specialty.
If you’re thirsty, we offer around 15 types of homemade fruit brandy, including šljivovica (plum brandy), dunjevača (quince brandy), viljamovka (Williams pear brandy), trešnjevača (cherry brandy), kajsijevača (apricot brandy), medovača (honey brandy), drenovača (cornelian cherry brandy), travarica (herbal brandy), malinovača (raspberry brandy) and more.
